• Legitimate Interests: To verify the identity of sellers, so that we can guard against fraud and avoid handling stolen goods. You may object to this processing at any time, though we may then be unable to complete a purchase.
• Legal Obligation: To manage Waste Transfer Notes and recycling records as required by environmental law.

How Long We Keep It

• Quote requests that do not proceed to a transaction: up to 12 months.
• Transaction records: 6 years (HMRC and Companies Act accounting requirements).
• Identity verification documents: 12 months from the date of the transaction.
• Waste Transfer Notes: 2 years (Environmental Protection Regulations).
